PS5 No Signal? How to Know If the HDMI Port Is Broken
A PS5 with no signal may have a broken HDMI port, bent pins or board-level damage. Here is what to check before repair.

A PlayStation 5 that powers on but shows no signal can be frustrating. The issue may be as simple as a cable or TV input, but repeated cable pressure, drops or a damaged port can break HDMI pins or solder joints.
Before forcing the cable, inspect the port with a light. If it wiggles, looks pushed in or has bent pins, stop using it. Continued pressure can damage the board and increase repair complexity.
JWS Electronics Repair tests the console with known-good equipment, inspects the port and checks the board before recommending replacement. Mail-in repair is available for customers outside North Babylon.
