As seen on the radio
A Long Island Local Legend
Long Island radio stations WBAB 102.3 and 106.1 BLI recognized JWS Electronics Repair as a Long Island Local Legend during America's 250th celebration — presented by Catholic Health.
It is an honor to be named among the businesses that make Long Island special, and a reflection of the trust our North Babylon neighbors have placed in us for more than two decades.
Our story
Jimi Calise started JWS with a simple idea: people deserve a repair shop that fixes things the right way and explains exactly what is going on — in plain language, without the runaround. What began as phone and screen repair grew into full board-level work as Jimi spent years mastering the micro-soldering skills most shops never offer.
Today JWS repairs everything from cracked iPhone and Samsung screens to PS5 and Xbox HDMI ports, laptop motherboards and water-damaged devices. When the big chains say “we can’t fix that” or quote the price of a new console, that is usually the moment a customer finds us — and walks out with their own device, working again, for a fraction of the cost.
We are proud to be part of the North Babylon community, tucked inside Wireless Shack on Deer Park Avenue, and to serve customers across Nassau, Suffolk and the rest of Long Island. For anyone outside the area, our nationwide mail-in service brings the same bench-level care to your door.
What we stand for
Honest diagnostics first
Every device gets a free, no-pressure diagnosis and a clear quote before any work starts. If a repair does not make sense, we will tell you.
Real board-level skill
We do our own micro-soldering in-house — HDMI ports, charging ICs and liquid-damage recovery — instead of mailing your device to a depot or swapping it for a refurb.
Warranty you can count on
A 1-year warranty on replaced parts, plus a lifetime warranty on iPhone OLED/LCD screen panels against panel defects.
We keep your data
We fix your actual device and protect what is on it. No surprise data wipes, no swapped-out units.
